Pisgah Cemetery
Directions: This cemetery is located Big Creek Road in the eastern part of Gilmer County, Georgia. From the Ellijay town square take Highway 52 East six miles to Big Creek Road, turn left. Take Big Creek Road approximately 9 miles and turn left onto Big Creek Road (just past the Big Creek Fire Station #4). Proceed approximately 1.5 miles. The cemetery is on the right side of the road, the church is on the left. A primitive church was built about 75 feet from the present church, it was built in 1898 by James Madison Ellis. The new church building was built in 1946.
